This is the website of ur2goofy, a.k.a. the halffastcollector. The purpose of this website is to facilitate the sale of items from my private estate. Items listed, once they are sold, are gone forever. I donot buy and sell goods. I have been a collector of precious gemstones, rare modern coins and medallions, and a philatelist for over 40 years. My knowledge is quite extensive as is my collection.
However, I will, on occassion, purchase gold, silver coins or medallions at current spot prices from those of you wishing to liquidate or “sell in a hurry” items you may own or are legally allowed to sell under the direction of the owner (s).
This website is constantly under development. New pages/items are being added as time permits. At the present time I do not offer the ability to purchase items through this website. However, customers may send personal checks, money orders pay through Western Union, or items can be purchased securely through PayPal. Simply click on the link "Contact US" and describe the item(s) you wish to purchase. I will respond, by email or by phone, with instructions on how to complete the transaction.
Occasionally, items shown here will be listed for sale at online auction sites. I have been a seller at ebay since 1999, and at Proxibid.com. I also list the estate's extensive library of books at amazon.com. Among them are text books on gemology and the art of jewelry creation, first edition novels, and books on photography and art, to name but a few.

Fees or Free For the past 10 years, I have been getting callers, and emails, asking the same question, and I'm actually quite used to it by now. However, I am a private collector and not a grading or appraisal service. If you wish to pay my small fee and receive my personal opinion (extensive as it may be) on the value of your item(s), I will be delighted to help. My charges start at just 1%, with a $10 minimum.
Free Advice However, most people want my expert advice for free! The amazing thing is, for the past ten years I have done exactly that, provided at no charge my opinions, appraisals, and services, and do actually give out lots of friendly helpful advice for nothing.
You might think to ask why I do something for nothing, after all if you wanted advice from your physician, lawyer, or accountant, they would charge you plenty. Well, I also like to make a livelihood. I provide my free advice out of goodwill, hoping you will go away happy, recommending me to your friends and relatives. Perhaps you will also come back if you decide to purchase a coin, gemstone, or other item and become a customer.
Unauthorized use of my photos or script is strictly prohibited. The items I offer are the result of a lifetime of investing and collecting. I can not, in good conscience, part with them or the photos without payment or permission.
My privacy policy is simple and it's the way it should be. I do not sell or give away your name, address, or e-mail address.
